Your photos never leave your device. Emulsi Lab processes every image locally in your browser.

What stays on your device

• Photos. Opened, edited and saved on your device. Nothing is uploaded to our servers.
• Camera. Only used when you tap Shoot, and only after you allow it. The live view and your shots stay on your device; the camera turns off as soon as you close it.
• Presets, settings and print details you type (name, address) are kept in your browser's local storage.
• Version history for up to 12 recent photos: small thumbnails of your edits, the file name, and your settings, so you can pick up where you left off.
• Simple counters (how many photos you opened and saved), used for the feedback summary.
• Remove all of it any time with About › Reset app, or by clearing this site's data in your browser.

What we collect

To see which features people use, the app sends small usage events, for example "app opened", "photos opened", "look picked" or "photo saved". Each event contains:

• the event name and a short value (such as the look name)
• a random device ID created on your device. It is not linked to your name or any account, but it lets us count returning use, so the data is pseudonymous rather than fully anonymous
• platform type, app version, app language, and whether the app is installed
• country, as reported by our hosting provider

We do not store your IP address, photos, file names, location, or anything you type. Events are kept only as long as they are useful for improving the app.

You can turn usage stats off in About › Share usage stats. After that, nothing is sent.

Third parties

• Hosting. The app runs on Cloudflare, which processes network requests to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.
• Print orders and feedback. When you order a print (Indonesia only) or send feedback, the app opens WhatsApp with your message. What you send there is handled under WhatsApp's own terms.
• Affiliate and support links open other websites. We may earn a small commission from purchases made through affiliate links, at no extra cost to you.

Terms of use

• Emulsi Lab is free to use and provided as is, without warranties. We do our best to keep it working but can't guarantee it always will.
• You own your photos and the images you create. Only use photos you have the right to use.
• Camera and film names in the app are our own. Descriptions such as "inspired by" refer to real products only to explain the look; those trademarks belong to their owners and we are not affiliated with them.
• The app's code, design and brand belong to Emulsi Lab. Please don't copy or redistribute them.
